Vivo has just released their latest flagship smartphone in the Philippines. The Vivo X21 is the first smartphone in the world to have an In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology, something we would eventually see in all smartphones in the future.
The Vivo X21 has a 6.28-inch 19:9 Full HD+ FullView Display with 1.66mm side bezels, achieving a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio to provide a wider viewing experience compared to other phones in its class. Instead of using a metal body, it uses a new 3D glass back cover. It’s arc and curve on the back cover makes the X21 comfortable to hold. The X21 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 128GB of Internal Storage expandable with a MicroSD Card up to 256GB and a whopping 6GB of RAM.
Like other flagships, the X21 features dual-cameras composed of 12 Megapixels and 5 Megapixels with dual pixel sensors. The larger photographic area of each pixel significantly boosts the X21’s picture quality. Vivo’s AI Scene Recognition also helps users take photos effectively for various scenarios. It can detect and identify 18 tags and 140 scenarios such as portraits, food and plants as it shoots. Its 12 Megapixels front camera with Vivo’s AI Face beauty can identify the subject’s sex, skin tone and surrounding lighting environment to create the ideal facial enhancement settings even in a backlit environment. AI Face Beauty learns the user’s specific preferences for beauty, and it can generate custom beautification effects tailored to each user.
