Two Screens In One Laptop? The ASUS ZenBook Pro has a Screen on the Touchpad!

After the revelations made last night at the ASUS Republic of Gamers “For Those Who Dare Event” in Taipei, ASUS today made sure that the excitement continues today with the announcement of their new products. One of the groundbreaking products made known today is the ASUS ZenBook Pro 2018, a high-performance laptop designed for professionals with a futuristic new feature that will revolutionize the way users work with their laptops – the ScreenPad.

ZenBook Pro

The ScreenPad combines a touchpad with a high-resolution, full-color touchscreen to offer ways of interacting intelligently with both Windows apps and dedicated programs called ScreenPad Apps. Adaptive functions with context-sensitive tools enhance workflow and productivity, and the ScreenPad is fully customizable to allow users to personalize their experience.

ZenBook Pro

With its interactive 5.5-inch Full HD display touchscreen, you can use the calculator to compute some numbers, check calendar appointments, or open the music app and listen to your favorite tracks. It has helpful functions that can intelligently adapt to match whatever the user is doing, which makes it quicker to multi-task and finish the job. Live updates ensure that the ScreenPad is always running the latest version, and new apps can be downloaded from the Windows Store. A ScreenPad SDK is available for developers wishing to create new apps and explore the endless possibilities of the ScreenPad.

ZenBook Pro

The ASUS ZenBook Pro has a 15-inch NanoEdge 4K UHD ultraslim-bezel touchscreen that looks really gorgeous. It’s powered by up to the the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i9 hexa-core processor, with up to 16GB of high-performance 2400Hz DDR4 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD that easily outperforms the PCIe x2 and SATA 3 SSDs used in rival laptops: its ultrafast performance lets the ZenBook Pro boot and open apps instantly. It uses up to the latest gaming-grade NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti GPU for graphics performance that’s nearly twice as fast as a GeForce GTX 960M. This DirectX® 12-compatible GPU delivers all the horsepower needed for even the most graphics-intensive tasks, such as 3D rendering or 4K UHD video playback, and flawless gaming visuals.

ZenBook Pro

The 15″ variant of the ASUS ZenBook Pro will be available this month at all ASUS Concept Stores in the Philippines. Prices will range from P104,995 to P134,995. The ZenBook Pro 14 with a smaller 14-inch display will be available later this year.
