Twitter has rolled up some updates for Android and Windows Phone mobile platforms. So what’s new with the Twitter app?
The update for Android is specifically for Tablets where more details of a tweet can be expanded while on landscape mode. Tapping on a tweet with photos, videos and articles will show its preview on the right side of the screen. Tapping it for a second time will show these in full screen mode.
This update is available for the newer version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and will be available to other Android tablets before the year ends.
Windows Phone on the other hand has a number of options that will let users have a better experience with the social network. One of them is getting tweets on the lock screen.
The new version lets you also have quick access to search, notifications from your favorite twitter users, and improvements on the Discover section. It’s already available for download in the Windows Phone Store.
