The Cherry Mobile Fusion Air – A Tablet for All the Juans

Fusion Air

Cherry Mobile has been teasing us about a new device with #TheOne hashtag for the past few days. They revealed today that #TheOne they are referring to is not a Quad-Core smartphone, but an Android tablet. The folks from Cherry Mobile calls it the Fusion Air, and it seems to be the more affordable brother of the hugely popular Fusion Bolt.

Here are the Fusion Air’s specs:

1GHz Processor (Mali-400 GPU Chipset)
Android Jelly Bean 4.2
7-inch 5 Point Touch Screen
4GB ROM (Expandable upto 32GB) | 512MB RAM
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
G-sensor
VGA Camera
3.5mm Stereo Audio Jack
2200 mAh Battery Capacity
191 * 118.9 * 9.8 mm

It didn’t mention if it is powered by a Dual-Core or Quad-Core, all we know of as of the moment is it’s running on a 1 GHz processor. How much? As mentioned in the image above, the SRP of the Fusion Air is Php 2,999.00. That’s Php 1,000 less from the Fusion Bolt that was released earlier this year. So if you don’t mind having a non Quad-Core powered tablet, then this may be a good option for you.
The Cherry Mobile Fusion Air will be available starting this week and will be available in Black and White colors.
We will be happy to hear your thoughts
