Starmobile UP Max with Digital TV Coming Soon!

I am not too keen about Digital TV, but after Starmobile released a report about their Digital TV Tests it got my attention again. They have already released the UP Vision last month, but this new Starmobile smartphone is the one I want to get.

The Starmobile UP Max is similar to the UP Vision, this time only bigger and better. The UP Max comes with a 5-inch IPS Display powered by a Quad-Core processor and is pre-installed with the latest Android OS 5.0 a.k.a Lollipop. The best feature I see here is the 5,000 mAh battery! According to our friends in Starmobile, the UP Max can last up to 24 hours talk time, 10 hours DTV time, and 41.25 days standby time. That’s freakin’ awesome!!!

Even with that battery capacity, the Starmobile UP Max only measures 9.6mm thick and weighs only 175 grams. Man, I am so drooling right now!

Also worth mentioning that as of this month, there are more than 10 free Digital TV channels that anyone could watch with a DTV device. These channels include ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5. The Starmobile UP Max can be brought in other countries too as its Digital TV tuner is compatible in over 65 countries.

Here are the specs of the Starmobile UP Max:

The Starmobile UP Max will be available this week (2nd week of June.) This might be my first DTV device and hopefully our friends from Starmobile will lend us a review unit when it becomes available.

By the way, watch out for our review of the Starmobile Knight X which I am enjoying right now as my main smartphone.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
