Starmobile Goes Retro with the UNO F301

I miss having a clamshell phone, or a flip phone as others would call it. My first clamshell phone was the Motorola V8088 which I bought in Singapore after I lost my Ericsson T28sc. I bought the V8088 for two reasons: a.) it was the smallest clamshell phone that time, and b.) Brad Pitt used it in Ocean’s 11 which means it’s cool! I gave my current Samsung clamshell phone to my mom recently and now I’m in the market for a new one. Coincidentally, Starmobile announced a new phone called the Starmobile UNO F301.

Starmobile continues to make call-and-text phones since there is still a demand for it. “Many Filipinos in both urban and rural areas still look for feature phones because of their simplicity, dependability, and affordability,” said Ardie Balderrama, Sales and Marketing Head, Starmobile. “We continue to be committed to this market by providing them with a variety of well-designed options that will serve their needs well while giving them pride of ownership.”

The UNO F301 measures 110mm x 53.2mm and comes with 1.8-inch colored screen display, a VGA camera with flash that you can use for taking photos or videos, FM radio with speaker, and an AllConnect Quad Band GSM that gives you wider coverage and better service. The Starmobile UNO F301 is available in black and white colors for only P899. It is available at all Starmobile kiosks and concept stores and at the official online store www.starmobile.com/shop.
