Christmas may be a few months away, and Smart is warming it up by offering a new promo to start the “Ber” months.
Smart Bro Postpaid is offering the iPad Mini 16GB WiFi + Cellular for only Php 999 a month. The 999 /month fee is already inclusive of the Smart BRO SIM Plan 399 which consists of 50 surfing hours with Anti-Bill Shock + Php 600 for the monthly amortization of the iPad. The subscriber will be required to pay a one-time fee of Php 1,500 before he can go home with a brand new iPad Mini 16GB!
Sounds really like a good deal, yes? Of course!
But what’s the difference between the Smart LTE iPad plans and the new All-In iPad Plan 999? Noticed I didn’t mention LTE in the newer plan? If you subscribe for the All-In iPad 999 plan, your Smart BRO SIM will be defaulted to 3G and NOT LTE. You will have to subscribe to their LTE buckets in order for you to use Smart’s blazing fast wireless data. Subscription to these LTE services will be billed on top of the postpaid account.
Another thing – the All-in iPad Plan 999 is applicable to the iPad Mini 16GB as of press time and not to the other iPad Mini or iPad 4 with Retina Display variants.
UPDATE: The All-In iPad 999 Plan is for the iPad Mini 16GB, 32GB at All-in Plan 1,199 and 64GB at All-in Plan 1,399. The iPad 4th Gen with Retina Display starts at All-in Plan 1,299.
For new subscribers who can’t get enough being on the internet, they can still go for the Unlimited 3G/LTE data plan with the iPad of their choice.
This is a very affordable way to own an iPad Mini especially for those people who don’t need to be on data all the time. Not all people need an LTE connection to post a Facebook status anyway 🙂
