SIBOL’s EnDerr Wins Starcraft II; Clinches 3rd Gold Medal in SEA Games Esports Event

Caviar “EnDerr” Acampado of the Philippines SIBOL Esports Team wins the Gold Medal in the Starcraft II competition of the 30th SEA Games in FilOil Flying V Arena, San Juan City. He defeated Thomas “Blysk” Kopankiewicz of Singapore 4-1.

EnDerr is the top seed of Group B defeating Vietnam’s Tran Hong Phuc, while Blysk had to go through another SIBOL player Derick Santos, teammate Toh Wei Liang Alvin and Vietnam’s Tran Hong Phuc. The Gold Medal Match between EnDerr and Blysk consists of a showdown between Zerg and Protoss. After losing the first two games, both players switched sides and Blysk was able to win as a Zerg. Enderr switched back to Zerg to clinch his third game for SIBOL and showed his mastery of Starcraft II by attacking Singapore, eventually clinching the match and the Gold Medal in SEA Games Esports Event.

EnDerr’s Gold Medal win is SIBOL Philippines’ third in the SEA Games Esports event. They were able to claim their first Gold Medal in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang last Sunday and DOTA 2 Monday night.
