Samsung announced today the availability of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, a new smartphone that blends advanced digital camera technology with the Korean giant’s leading Galaxy experience.
We all know users keep on looking for a smartphone with the best camera so that they won’t have to bring a digital camera anymore. Samsung came up with a 2nd edition of the Galaxy Zoom smartphone with the features of a real digital camera. Compared to other smartphones, the Galaxy K Zoom is equipped with a new retracting lens technology that provides 10x optical zoom. And unlike the Samsung Galaxy Camera, the Galaxy K Zoom is easier to slip inside one’s pants pocket.
This SuperCameraPhone comes with a 20.7 Megapixel BSI CMOS sensor for ultra-clear and detailed images. It excels in low light conditions, and provides Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to reduce blur caused by movement. Its Xenon Flash provides a brighter light than a regular smartphone’s LED flash to imrpove the quality of the image with natural brilliance.
I’m keen on using the other features of the Galaxy K Zoom, like the AF/AE (Auto Focus/Auto Exposure) Separation. As explained earlier to us during the launch event, the AF/AE Separation will let the user balance light and clarity when taking a photo. It also comes with a Selfie Alarm that allows users to take timed selfies with ease, and object tracking for a clear, focused shot of a moving object.
Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWIZ is the operating system of the Galaxy K Zoom. Anyone familiar with Android will be able to use it with ease especially when sharing to social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Lastly, stuff you find in other Galaxy devices like LTE connectivity, Ultra Power Saving Mode and S Health Lite are also found on the Galaxy K Zoom as well as a Studio app for editing pictures and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is now available in all Samsung Stores and authorized dealers for Php 24,990.00.
