Two new anticipated products from Samsung were finally launched last night at the SM Aura Premier. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Gear were unveiled during the IFA Consumer Electronics event earlier this month and are now two of the most anticipated gadgets of today.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is almost of the same size as the Galaxy Note 2 but it is beefed up with a bigger 5.7″ Super AMOLED screen, a more powerful 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core processor, bigger RAM at 3GB, 13 Megapixel camera and promises longer usage with a 3200 mAh battery. Like other Galaxy smartphones that were released this year, the Galaxy Note 3 now supports LTE connectivity and is compatible with the networks here in the Philippines. Despite of the larger screen, the Galaxy Note 3 is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. The SRP of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is Php 36,990, but if you plan to be one of the first owners of this phablet, then you can avail it for Php 33,990.00 as part of their First Day Promo. This is only valid for tomorrow, September 28 at the Samsung Experience Shops in SM Aura, SM Mall of Asia, SM Cebu, SM Consolacion, SM Davao and SM Lanang.
Rumors about smart watches started to fill the interwebs last year, and though Apple was thought to be developing one, Samsung was the first to come up with what they call the Galaxy Gear. The watch can be paired with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 via bluetooth and once connected, you can use the Galaxy Gear to make and receive calls, send and receive SMS, receive other notifications, use it as a pedometer for exercise, and take pictures with its built-in camera found on the strap. It can not be paired with other Samsung Galaxy smartphones as of the moment. The Samsung Galaxy Gear’s SRP is Php 12,900.
