Xiaomi’s Redmi line isn’t done yet in coming up with smartphones to fill up the entry-level smartphone market. After revealing the Redmi 9 last week, they are announcing another Redmi 9 phone. It’s the Redmi 9A, a smartphone priced at only P4,690. It will be available for purchase starting July 15, 2020.
This brand-new entry-level smartphone is equipped with a massive 6.53” Dot Drop display for an immersive viewing experience. The Redmi 9A is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25, an Octa-Core chipset aimed for gamers which allows a smooth day-to-day operating and playing experience. Internal storage is 32GB expandable up to 512GB with a Micro SD Card and has a memory of 2GB. It has already MIUI 12 based on Android 10 pre-installed.
It also sports the AI-optimized 13 Megapixel rear camera that can quickly and easily capture crisp and clear images in a variety of situations. For selfies, a 5 Megapixel front camera is available. A 5000mAh high-capacity battery that satisfies users who want to do more and enjoy more on their phone.
The Redmi 9A will be available with one variant, 2GB+32GB, in Granite Gray, Peacock Green and Sky Blue. For only P4,690, the device will be available for purchase from July 15, 2020 at official Mi Stores, as well as through Xiaomi Flagship Store on Lazada and Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee.
Meanwhile, the model will also be available for purchase from July 21, 2020 via Xiaomi’s authorized offline retailers (please refer to this link for detailed list of offline retailers).
