Heroes, get ready, as Blizzard Entertainment brings back the Overwatch Map Design Contest!
The highly anticipated Overwatch fan art contest has returned! From March 30 to April 30, show the world your talent and creativity in designing a unique Overwatch map.
Start by heading over to the event site, then follow the simple sign up process, and upload your art works and fill up some required info, and you’re all set!
Contest info:
- Eligibility: players from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
- Sign up method: visit the event site, upload art work, and fill out required information.
- The Contest Details section of the event site shows the submission format and requirements, as well as a link to the format file for use by the artist contestants.
- No. of entries: Maximum of two (2) per player
- Event period: from March 30 until April 30 at 23:59 (GMT+8)
The Overwatch art team will carefully select the top 8 art works based on these criteria:

- Map Master (1 winner) – Nintendo Switch + Overwatch for Nintendo Switch
- Map Design Specialist (1 winner) – Mercy Statue
- Born To Be Artist (1 winner) – Overwatch hoodie Jacket + Blizzard Balance
- Designers (5 winners) – USD100 Blizzard Balance
Players can also vote for their favorite art works and the top 4 most popular artists will receive the popularity awards:
- SEA popularity prize – US$150 Blizzard Balance
- Grand master prize – US$100 Blizzard Balance
- Master prize – US$70 Blizzard Balance
- Diamond prize – US$30 Blizzard Balance
