NVIDIA Introduces Bigger, Better Gaming Monitors

January is CES (Consumer Electronics Show) time. Personally, I’ve lost interest in CES years ago but there are some news that are worth sharing for gamers. NVIDIA has unveiled these giant monitors called BIG FORMAT GAMING DISPLAYS. How big are these monitors? The usual size is around 24-27 inches while the largest was at 49-inches. BFGDs comes with a massive 65-inches screen! What the?!!

I’ve reviewed a 65-inch LED TV before and used it with my Sony Playstation 4 for gaming and it was a fantastic experience. BFGD monitors can be even better when paired with a gaming laptop or PC. These monitors have built-in 4K resolution, 120Hz HDR display with NVIDIA G-SYNC partnered with NVIDIA SHIELD. G-SYNC can synchronize the display’s 120Hz refresh rate to the game at every moment in time. It delivers a highly responsive, smooth, tear-free, immersive gaming experience even at this gigantic screen size. Man, I would certainly like to try this with my current gaming laptop, the ASUS ROG Strix GL502VS!

“PC gamers expect high performance and instant response times, but, until now, they’ve been largely limited to traditional desktop displays,” said Matt Wuebbling, head of GeForce marketing at NVIDIA. “BFGDs change that. With NVIDIA’s latest technology built into these new displays, PC gamers can now experience their favorite titles in all the low-latency glory they deserve.”

NVIDIA BFGD Gaming monitors should be available later this year via their partners ASUS, Acer and HP.
