Nokia Lumia 530 – The Most Affordable Windows Phone is Now Available in PH

Ah! Finally! We’ve been bugging Nokia to release a sub-5k Windows Phone to penetrate this Android-dominant market segment. We’ve been telling them that it’s not too late, and they finally listened. The release of the Nokia Lumia 530 with an SRP of Php 4,990 makes it the most affordable Windows Phone in the Philippines today!

Those who are sick of Android and want to try something new but are intimidated by the price may opt for the Lumia 530 first before upgrading to a higher model.  Man, with this price I want to purchase one right now and check it out. Hmmmm…..

Even with its low price, the Lumia 530 is still powered by a Quad-Core processor by Qualcomm, sports a smaller 4-inch display, Dual-SIM, 4GB of Storage expandable with a MicroSD Card up to 128GB, 512MB RAM, 5 Megapixel camera and Windows Phone 8.1

All the services being enjoyed in the high-end are still found in the Lumia 530. Most people at least need a document reader to open on their smartphones. Since this is a Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone, it comes with built-in MS Office, so apps like MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint are already pre-installed.

The Nokia Lumia 530 DS is expected to be available today, September 5. It will be available in a range of colours including bright orange, bright green and stylish neutrals such as dark grey and white, along with a selection of changeable shells.
