Nokia Lumia 1020 Available on October 11

Nokia launched their most anticipated phone model of the year. The Nokia Lumia 1020 has set a new standard in smartphone imaging as it claims to produce the sharpest images possible by any digital camera.

The Lumia 1020’s camera is the smartphone’s super-feature. It has 41 Megapixels with PureView technology, six lens Carl Zeiss optics and optimal image stabilization. Since this is a smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity, users of the Lumia 1020 can easily edit and share professional quality photos and videos via social networking sites.

“Consumers want to capture and share memorable experiences with their smartphone. We want to take people on a journey from capturing pictures to recording and sharing their lives. The Nokia Lumia 1020 brings new meaning to pictures and continues to strengthen Nokia’s leadership in imaging. The Nokia Lumia 1020 is the first smartphone to exceed many standalone digital cameras in terms of image quality capture ensuring users always have that perfect photo – day or night,” said Gary Chan, Head of Marketing, Pan Asia, Nokia .

Mr. Karel Holub, Nokia Philippines General Manager, announcing the price of the Nokia Lumia 1020.

A Qualcomm 1.5GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor powers up the Nokia Lumia 1020 with a built-in storage of 32GB and 2GB of RAM. Since this is part of the Lumia series, the 1020 will have Windows Phone 8 as its operating system.

The suggested retail price of the Nokia Lumia 1020 is Php 35,650 and it comes with a Nokia Camera Grip (with a value of Php 4,000) for free and will be available on October 11 at  all Nokia retail store outlets and dealers.
