PLDT’s newly minted concept store has just opened at the second floor of the Promenade in Greenhills. Aside from the standard customer transactions like new line applications and bills payment, the PLDT concept store features one-of-a-kind and interactive displays. Customers who are deciding on which broadband plan to get can benefit from seeing and experiencing the actual speed differences through the Broadband Visualizer which simulates the broadband experience and data usage per plan.
Selfie enthusiasts will definitely enjoy the Augmented Reality display which is an oversized version of the popular mobile application Snapchat. It allows users to take photos against changing and interactive backgrounds. Located outside the SSC, the display is accessible even to passersby.
The new PLDT Concept Store also levels up customer service by offering video chat service to customers. They also get a chance to experience first-hand the service offerings from PLDT Home Fibr, DSL and Ultera. Waiting companions and interested subscribers can also learn more about PLDT Home products and services, and enjoy high-speed browsing, video streaming, gaming and social media surfing via the interactive screens.
TV personality Cesca Litton hosted the formal opening which was attended by PLDT executives and special guest, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves.
“The launch of our first concept store in Metro Manila is part of our continuous efforts to serve our subscribers better. It has all the elements necessary, including retail science and of course, world-class internet, to give our customers the best digital experiences outside the home,” PLDT FVP and Home Business Head Oscar A. Reyes, Jr. said. “We have plans to open more concept stores, and we’re very excited bring this unique experience to more subscribers.”
