Introducing SMART Bro’s New LTE Plans 599 and 1299

1299 FINAL TWITTER

Can you believe SMART Bro’s LTE service is now 3 years old. In 2011, they invited the media to experience the super fast download speeds in Boracay.

I’ve been on Smart’s LTE since they activated it for the iPhone 5 and when I acquired an iPad 4th Gen last year. My experience were mostly positive and I can’t live without an LTE connection especially with my online work and blogging activities. What prevents some people from subscribing is the affordability of the plans.

SMART Bro has some good news for these potential subscribers. How does an LTE Plan for 599 a month sound? Interesting, right?

LTE Plan 599 allows subscribers to use up to 1.5GB per month, includes a free LTE SIM and lets them choose between an LTE Pocket WiFi or an LTE Plug-It device. We know subscribing for a Postpaid Plan requires a lock-in period, but SMART is giving you choices of how long you would like to be locked-in to their network. For a 6-month lock-in plan, just pay a one time fee of Php 4,500 for the Pocket WiFi and Php 3,500 for an LTE Plug-It, but if you want a longer 24-month contract, just pay a one time fee of Php 1,500 for the Pocket WiFi or get an LTE Plug-It device for free!

LTE  Plan 1299 on the other hand offers bundled tablets like the Huawei MediaPad 10 Link LTE and the Asus Nexus 7 LTE. Subscribers can use up to 1.5GB of data per month, but unlike Plan 599 these tablets have a lock-in period of 24 months. Here are the specs of these 2 LTE devices:
