Huawei Seamless AI Product Launch – New FreeBuds, MateBooks Announced
Day 1 of the Huawei Developer Conference has just ended with great news for Huawei users. Even greater news is the new products that they have announced during the Huawei Seamless AI product launch, where they have announced five new products for us to drool on. These products can work with each other, as Huawei continues to promote its Ecosystem. Thank goodness I was finally invited to attend this time albeit online, but at least I’ll get to share the good news to everyone.
Here are the new products announced:
The Huawei Freebuds Bro is a departure from the Freebuds 3 design which is said to have copied the Apple AirPods. The Freebuds Pro has an iconic cubic design with a natural arc that fits naturally in your ears. Huawei claims that the Freebuds Pro produces the best sound performance with its 11mm ultra-large amplitude dynamic driver. It comes with Dynamic Equalizer to bring an immersive sound experience. Huawei has also implemented a Dual Anti Wind-Noise Design so users can talk without having to worry about the distracting noise of the wind. Its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) can prevent noise up to 40db,
The Huawei Freebuds Pro is priced at €199 and will be available in three colors: Silver Frost, Carbon Black and Ceramic White. These Freebuds will become available this October.
HUAWEI FREELACE PRO
The Huawei Freelace also gets an upgrade! The Huawei Freelace Pro offers great audio with a stylish neckband design. It now supports noise cancellation up to 40db and provides stable noise cancelling performance in any situation. Pairing and charging are seamless with Huawei HiPair by simply plugging the earphones to a smartphone. Charging for five-minutes can give around five hours of music playback while a full charge offers a full day of use.
The Huawei Freelace Pro will become available this September with a price of €119. Colors available are Graphite Black, Spruce Green and Dawn White.
HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 PRO
I love my Huawei Watch GT 2e and I’ve been using this watch since last summer. However, after learning about the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, I am now lusting to buy this new smartwatch. The new flagship smartwatch launches with a rugged design featuring premium materials, including a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case and skin-friendly ceramic case back that combines with another sapphire glass black to enhance monitoring accuracy and wearing comfort.
The GT 2 Pro supports more than 100 workout modes with pro-grade fitness data tracking features. It can still last up to two weeks on a single charge, but the best part for me here is, it can now be charged with your Huawei smartphone! No need to bring the charger!
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro Sport and Classic editions will be available this September. The Sport Edition is priced at €329 while the Classic Edition is priced at €349.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT
Another Huawei Watch was unveiled at the Huawei Seamless AI Product Launch. The Huawei Watch Fit is the first Huawei sports smartwatch to feature a rounded rectangular watch face design. The smartwatch combines a dazzling 1.64-inch AMOLED display, which lends itself to displaying more content and a better interaction experience. At 34g, the Huawei Watch Fit feels as light as a sports wristband. The watch features newly upgraded Huawei TruSeen 4.0 heart rate technology, which leverages Huawei’s own multi-sensor AI neural network algorithm and advanced PPG components to provide more accurate, 24-hour heart monitoring to track changes in blood oxygen, sleep and stress conditions. All the data is also analysed to generate fitness advice that helps users lead better, healthier lives.
The Huawei Watch Fit is the first Huawei smartwatch to support Quick-workout Animations. This feature provides a quick and easy way for users to work out at a moment’s notice. It also comes with 96 workout modes, built-in GPS and 5ATM water resistance. While compact, the smartphone supports up to 10-day battery in typical scenarios. Huawei Watch Fit also supports Huawei’s fast charging technology. Five minutes of charging can provide enough charge to sustain the smartwatch for an entire day of typical use.
The Huawei Watch Fit will become available this September for €129.
HUAWEI MATEBOOK X
Two MateBooks were announced at the Huawei Seamless AI Product Launch. The Huawei MateBook X combines the flagship series’ iconic design and innovative technology with improved lightweight design and smart features. Weighing just 1kg, the lightweight notebook measures just 13.6mm at its thickest part and is smaller than a piece of A4 paper, so users can easily slide it into a backpack and carry it with them wherever they go.
The new MateBook X is the first notebook to feature the 3K Infinite FullView Display that offers an immersive viewing experience and stunning image quality. The display supports gesture support and multi-touch which lets users take screenshots by swiping downwards on the screen with three fingers. It is powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processor and now supports WiFi 6 which is three times faster than WiFi 5. The improved Multi-Screen Collaboration adds even more versatility to the MateBook X by allowing users to tap into the capabilities of multiple devices at once.
The new Huawei MateBook X will be available this October in two variants: Core i5 with 512GB/16GB and Core i7 with 512GB/16GB. The Core i5 variant will have a price tag of €1599 while the Core i7 MateBook X will have a price of €1799.
HUAWEI MATEBOOK 14
Just as I thought. After announcing the MateBook X, I thought it would be too soon for them to announce the replacement for the MateBook 13. I know there is already a MateBook D14, but not a MateBook 14. And that’s exactly what they announced – the Huawei MateBook 14! The Huawei MateBook 14 integrates the AMD Ryzen 4000 H Series processor, with Huawei Shark Fin Fans delivering superior thermal performance even under intense workloads. Aside from its performance, it has a 2K HUAWEI FullView Display and supports smart features including Multi-screen Collaboration to help consumers stay productive on the road.
The Huawei MateBook 14 will be available this October with three variants to choose from: Ryzen 5 4600H with 256GB/8GB for €849, Ryzen 5 4600H with 512GB/16GB for €949 and Ryzen 7 4800H Touchscreen with 512GB/16GB for €1049.
