Huawei aims to push their other products in their ecosystem by offering more laptops called the MateBooks. The Huawei MateBook D 15’s specs include a large 15.6″ screen with IPS display technology which is perfect for those who prefer a better viewing experience. It has thin bezels that makes the notebook look modern, while its bright IPS display is able to produce vibrant colors which users can appreciate whenever they view their photos or watch online streaming videos. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U usually seen in mid-range laptops and its GPU is a Radeon Vega 8. Ryzen 5 is capable of providing users with great performance and reliability with their tasks. Storage of the laptop is 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD and its memory is 8GB.

Since it has thin bezels, the MateBook D15’s 1MP camera is placed in the keyboard which pops-up. The fingerprint scanner not only provides additional security, it will also lets the user sign in to the laptop automatically. And, if you have a Huawei phone like a P30 Pro, transferring files can be done fast and easy with Huawei Share by placing the phone on the laptop. This is a prelude of Huawei’s plans on what they can do with their ecosystem.

With its large display, one might wonder if the laptop’s size is too big and heavy to bring. The good news here is, the MateBook D 15 is only 16.9mm thick and weighs just 1.53kg! It charges via USB and with its fast charger, charging the MateBook will only take 30 minutes to fill up 50% of its juice.
