Huawei released two new MateBooks today – first is the new MateBook D 14 and the other is a refresh of the MateBook 13. The Huawei MateBook 13 2020 is a 13-inch ultra-portable device aimed at young professionals, and brings Huawei’s latest technologies to a wider audience.
The MateBook 13 2020 features a metallic, minimalist design. With a size of 286 x 211 x 14.9mm and weight of 1.3kg, the MateBook 13 possess the ideal size and weight of a laptop for users who are always on the go. The MateBook 13 takes the Huawei FullView design to another level with a screen-to-body ratio of 88% and size bezels measuring at 4.4mm. This results to a large display with a small compact footprint. The resolution of the display is 2K with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and supports 100 percent of the RGB gamut. It can display vivid details for users when viewing HD pictures or playing Blu-Ray quality videos. The 2K display is also a touchscreen that supports Multi-Touch and even supports finger gesture screenshot.
As mentioned in the title of this article, the latest MateBook 13 is powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors with a choice of Core i5 and Core i7. GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce MX250, RAM consists of 8GB and 16GB while storage is 512GB SSD. The MateBook 13 adopts the Huawei Shark Fin Design 2.0 for its cooling system which uses high-speed fans to generate high airflow. Like other MateBooks it also has a fingerprint scanner and supports Huawei Share with Multi-Screen Collaboration. The 65W Type-C portable adapter not only charges the MateBook 13 but also for smartphones and tablets.
The Huawei MateBook 13 2020 will have an SRP of P65,990 for the Core i5 variant and P72,990 for the Core i7. From July 4-31, 2020, every purchase of the Huawei MateBook 13 2020 will come with a FREE laptop sleeve and Huawei backpack.
