Huawei Mate 20 Series Sales on Opening Day Fetched P100 Million

We received news that the Huawei Mate 20 series fetched P100 Million on its opening day yesterday. I’m not sure how they did it, for these phones are flagship phones priced P40,000 and above. Filipinos might have been convinced that Huawei phones really take good photos, thanks to its P20 series launched several months ago. I heard China also has sold 100 Million too. I guess it’s true-la-loo.

Yesterday, I saw posts on Facebook of people lining up for the Huawei Mate 20. There was a long line in the Huawei Store at Glorietta, as well as the Huawei Store in SM Mall of Asia. It was the same scenario when people lined up for the opening day of the Huawei P20 and Nova 3 series.

“The overwhelming support on the launch of Huawei Mate 20 series in the Philippines fuels our work to offer more innovative products to Filipinos” said Mr. George Li, Country Manager at Huawei Philippines. “We look forward to reaching more consumers and allow them to experience #AHigherIntelligence device like the Mate 20.”

The Huawei Mate 20 is now available for P40,900 while the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is worth P49,900. Speaking of the Mate 20 Pro, check out my camera comparison between the Samsung Galaxy Note9 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro by clicking on this link: https://digitalreg.net/samsung-galaxy-note9-vs-huawei-mate-20-pro-camera-shootout/
