Yes, you read it right – Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE Season 2 is going to resume streaming new episodes starting July 9!
The announcement was made yesterday in Bandai Hobby’s Facebook page, including the image below in the post:
An earlier announcement just before the release of the series’ episode 18 mentioned that the series needed to be postponed as production of new episodes have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic:
The English website for Gundam Info posted more information about the Build Divers Re:RISE’s resumption, including a message from the series’ director, Shinya Watada:
Thank you so much for always supporting “GUNDAM BUILD DIVERS Re:RISE”.
Please be informed that we decided to resume streaming the show from July 9th.
From now the story is accelerating towards its climax.
I would appreciate it if you could keep watching what will be happening to Hiroto and the other Build Divers as well as the planet Eldora till the very end.
We, all the production staff, continue to produce the show as we make sure everyone stay safe. Please look forward!

There were a few teaser images posted in the same article as well – what better way to hype all the fans eager to see the return of the latest Gundam series!
This is exciting news for all Gundam fans – like me! – and especially those who have followed from the start the story of Hiroto and Team Build Divers in the world of Eldora. The series was left on a cliffhanger at episode 18, as despite what seems to be a successful mission against the series antagonist “Alus”, Hiroto struggles with some issues about the use of Uraven Armor, apparently something related to his mysterious past in his time in the Gundam Battle Nexus.
Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE is the 4th entry in Sunrise’ Gundam Build series, which are Gundam shows portraying characters who build GunPla (portmanteau of “Gundam” and “Plastic model kits”). They use an arcade console-like machine that enables the builders to pilot their GunPla to do battle with each other!
