The Gigabyte Z590 VISION is a follow up to Gigabyte’s earlier announcement of Z590 motherboards to be released this year. Powering Intel’s next generation of Core processors, the exclusive design of VisionLINK and VisionLINK TB enables connection to pen displays through a single USB Type-C cable. The VisionLINK technology allows for data and video transmission based on USB Type C Interface and provides power delivery of up to 60W. VisionLINK lets creators reduce the amount of cable clutter, but also benefit of combining data, video and power/charging all at the same time. One USB Type-C cable is all that is needed, making workspaces neat and tidy. VisionLINK TB is a more advanced version of VisionLINK. Based on Thunderbolt 4, it delivers 40Gb/s high bandwidth speeds, data transfer, video signal, and 60W power/charging, and daisy chain function to support up to 10 connected devices.
Gigabyte Z590 VISION Features
Gigabyte kept the white styling for its Z590 VISION line. It uses up to 12-phase direct power design, paired with highly durable DrMOS to provide the best power delivery. Solid power pin connectors on the Z590 VISION series motherboards ensure stable power delivery while reducing excess heat during high workload to prevent throttling. With new fins-array, direct-touch heat-pipe and large heat sink design; Gigabyte is able to manage the board’s thermal performance.

Memory circuits of Gigabyte Z590 VISION motherboards are embedded within the PCB ground layers, while the metal outer layer of the PCB reduces electronic interference. Users running dual channel configuration are assured of high speed and stable overclocked RAM performance above XMP 4800MHz. Gigabyte Z590 VISION motherboards use PCIe 4.0 grade PCBs, PCIe slots, M.2 slots and controllers for the highest bandwidth quality. Gigabyte Z590 VISION Models
Z590 VISION G features three PCIe x16 slots with one Gen4 x16 and two Gen3 x4 support. There are four M.2 slots with PCIe 4.0/3.0 interface and six SATA 6Gbp/s ports. Gigabyte adds the regular VisionLINK feature into this model.
Z590 VISION D holds two PCIE 4.0 slots of x16 and x8, and two PCIe 3.0 of x4 and x1. Three M.2 slots with PCIe 4.0/3.0 interface. There are six SATA 6Gbp/s ports. The board uses VisionLINK TB instead of the regular version. Furthermore, the board includes the Wifi 6 80211ax into the motherboard.
