ESGS 2018 – ROG Phone Pre-Order Sold Out on First Day!

With all the hype since news of its existence started during COMPUTEX 2018, the ROG Phone has finally landed in the Philippines! I posted about the ROG Phone last June when it was revealed in Taipei and I fell in love with it. Specs and the accessories that go with it, no doubt the ROG Phone is currently the most legit gaming phone.

Prices were finally revealed during ESGS last weekend and though there was a price leak by one of ASUS dealers prior to the launch, ASUS Philippines did not make any changes. The ROG Phone with 128GB/8GB costs P49,995 which Joey Nocom, Country Product Manager of ASUS and I agreed was a sweet spot for its price during COMPUTEX 2018. The 512GB/8GB variant on the other hand costs P61,995. Every ROG Phone Pre-Order will let the buyer receive a FREE ROG Phone Jacket and a ROG Phone Hard Case.

Now if you’re a serious gamer and want to take advantage of the ROG Phone’s capabilities, then it’s best to pre-order the phone with its complete accessories. These include the Twinview Dock, Mobile Desktop Dock, WiGiG Display Dock, Gamevice Controller, Professional Dock and even a ROG Phone Suitcase! These accessories along with the ROG Phone 128GB/8GB cost P90,990 while the 512GB/8GB’s price is P102,990.

Personally, I think these were priced right so Kudos to ASUS Philippines! For those people who think these phones are overpriced and will never be bought, let me share to you that the ROG Phone Pre-Order on ESGS was SOLD OUT! Pre-Order for the Unit and Champion’s Bundle were all sold out! It certainly means that a.) people have money to buy b.) serious mobile gamers, and c.) people who say negative things about the phone have no money to buy even prepaid load.

If you want to pre-order an ROG Phone, go ahead. You still have time until November 8 to pre-order. Just visit any of these ROG Concept Stores: ROG SM Megamall, ROG SM North EDSA, ROG SM Mall of Asia, and ROG SM City Cebu.
