EPSON Commemorates 100 Years of Philippine Cinema with Art Fair Philippines

Art Fair Philippines in partnership with Epson Philippines set in motion “The Unconfined Cinema”, Art Fair’s inaugural film section celebrating 100 years of unconstrained Philippine cinema.

The Unconfined Cinema was an anthology of distinct local films that embodied what Philippine films was for a century. It was a masterful presentation with notable people behind the screen. Film Critic Philbert Dy, film composer Erwin Romulo, and film archivist and historian Teddy Co curated the section.

EPSON Philippines delivered the projectors to showcase the films from February 21 to 23 at The Link in Makati City. Projectors used were three Epson EB-L1505 high brightness laser projectors elevating the experience further with its distinctive quality.

Epson’s 3LCD technology had honored and relived years of passion that made the Philippine silver screen uncompromising and exceptional. After all, vibrant colors and astounding images are the tribute we can offer most for the films of old.

Art Fair Philippines continues to celebrate Philippine visual art. To check the Art Fair Philippines 2020 highlights including 100 years of Cinema in the Philippines, check out this video! To learn more about Epson’s projectors, visit www.epson.com.ph/projectors
