DOTR, LTFRB Teams Up with PayMaya for PUV Cashless Payments

The Department of Transportation (DOTR) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will be using PayMaya as standard cashless platform for drivers and operators of Public Utility Vehicles or PUV!

Lockdown restrictions have been easing up the nation as per the government’s order. As such, the DOTR and LTFRB have decided to widen opportunities for drivers to make up for lost time and keep up with the current times. This not only offers a safer and more efficient alternative for drivers and passengers alike, it also opens a resource for drivers. Operators can give out drivers’ salaries through PayMaya which in turn, gives drivers access to a versatile e-wallet.
