We received a tip about a video posted allegedly by a high-ranking executive of Chinese smartphone brand OPPO. The video, posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo shows that the phone he’s using is able to zoom in to far places, just like the Huawei P30 Pro.
The Huawei P30 Pro is capable of 50X super zoom and we demonstrated that in our first impressions here. However, the phone on the video showed that it can surpass 50X zoom. It reached 60X, beating the P30 Pro! Unbelievable!

We are not sure what phone the executive was using, but our hunch it might be the upcoming OPPO Reno. There’s a Reno logo at the corner of the screen, but we are still not certain if that is indeed the phone they’ve used.
