Cherry Mobile Launches Its First Quad-Core Tablet – The Fusion Bolt

Cherry Mobile hosted a Press and Bloggers Showcase yesterday at the Diamond Hotel, and from the looks of their teaser which we received last weekend, it suggested a tablet that is “four times faster” than those average tablets in the market. Most of the attendees were right on the money as Cherry Mobile unveiled the details of their latest tablet called the Fusion Bolt.

Not to be confused with the Fusion Ice which they have released last month, the Fusion Bolt sports a hardware that is reminiscent to Google’s Nexus 7 tablet. Under the hood of the Fusion Bolt is a Quad-Core 1GHz processor, 7″HD IPS screen, 8GB of ROM with 1GB of RAM, 4000 mAH battery capacity and Android 4.1 (Jellybean). Now, like with previous Cherry Mobile events for the past years, Lonson Alejandrino, Sales & Product Manager for Smartphones asked the audience the price of the Fusion Bolt (we guessed it at Php 6,999.00) It turned out that the SRP is Php 3,999.00!

We were given a unit to review so please tune in to see what our impressions are. As of the moment, here are our unboxing pics of the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt.
