That’s old news now, because Cherry Mobile has just announced their new Windows lineup called the Alpha series. Their Windows Phone lineup includes the Alpha Style and the Alpha Luxe. If you’re in the market for an affordable Windows Phone or Tablet, boy I tell yah, this is the right time for you to buy!
CHERRY MOBILE ALPHA STYLE
The Killer of all Windows Phone smartphones. The phone looks chunky, but not in a bad way. A fellow blogger who was able to use the device said that the Alpha Style was comfortable to hold. Screen is responsive, apps are responsive. I just couldn’t believe that this is a Php 2,999 Windows Phone! The Alpha Style will be available in 2 colors: Black and Red.

The Alpha Luxe is very similar to the Omega Icon, one of Cherry Mobile’s Android bestsellers. The obvious difference is the Alpha Luxe has Windows Phone 8.1 as its mobile operating system of choice. Though the specs of the Alpha Style looked fine to me, the specs of the Alpha Luxe fits my preference. I still say 1GB of RAM is needed in Windows Phone 8 to avoid any crashes. I like the built of the Alpha Luxe and the 5-inch display is my preferred screen size nowadays. I was given a review unit so expect a full review in a week or so.
