The number one mobile phone brand in the Philippines, Cherry Mobile, has been cited as one of the winners in the prestigious Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) 2018 Awards. The award was given last October 11, in Singapore, under the category “Asia’s Best Performing Companies.”
ACES recognizes successful companies and individuals in Asia across two main domains; leadership and corporate social responsibility. The awards value and recognize services and achievements of businesses, both large and small, national and international, for their esteemed contributions to their communities and the world. The prestigious award-giving body is organized by a Malaysian-based MORS group and it recognizes leaders and companies who are game-changers in Asia’s business world.

Cherry Mobile joins the ranks of other big Filipino companies who have been awarded in previous ACES ceremonies like Ayala Land, Energy Development Corp, and ABOITIZ Equity Ventures Inc. Also, just recently, Cherry Mobile proved its undefeated stance in the local scene as it once again took the number one spot on the list of leading smartphone vendors in the Philippines. This was based on the International Data Corporation (IDC) report for the first half of 2018.
