Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 4 and Alpha Prime 5 Announced in COMPUTEX

Cherry Mobile is really making itself known in the international scene. They were known to sell the Cherry Mobile Ace as the cheapest mobile phone in the world and introduced the Cherry Mobile Alpha Neon and Alpha View at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last March. The major tech event this month is Computex held every year in Taipei, and again, Cherry Mobile took the opportunity to announce their latest smartphone models.

The latest smartphones introduced by the Philippines’ top local brand are the Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 4 and the Alpha Prime 5. The Alpha line series of smartphones are based on Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform and it seems that Cherry Mobile is still going to push for more sales given the models that they’ve announced so far this year.

There are two new things to like about the Alpha Prime. It will have the latest Windows 10 OS already installed upon availability. Windows 10 has improved some of its areas like the Action Center and Speech Recognition, but it is more known for the new Universal Apps. This means you can access the same app on your Windows Phone, Windows Tablet or Windows PC or Laptop.

The other new stuff we will see in the Alpha Prime is the inclusion of LTE (finally!) I love my Alpha Luxe and it’s my favorite Windows Phone to date, but that might change once I get an Alpha Prime since I use my LTE a lot for both work and blogging.

The 2 versions of the Alpha Prime suggests the size of the screen. Check out the specs below:
