Globe’s Professional ESports team (in partnership with Mineski), Team Liyab will be representing PH at the Mid-Season Invitational after winning Champion at the Philippine National Minor event of the League of Legends (LoL) SEA Tour.
Team Liyab started the National Minor Semifinals against the TNC Pro Team. The blazing team prevailed over TNC with a whopping 2- 0 victory bringing them to face the Steelwolves next in the finals.
Certainly, the Steelwolves Gaia was a formidable team with unorthodox strategies (even beating Arkangel!). However, they suffered defeat in the finals all the same.
After that, Team Liyab didn’t slow down. Liyab’s Cara Cute recently brought home a win at the Hearthstone Philippine National Qualifiers for the 2019 World Cyber Games. Therefore, Cara Cute now certifies as the country’s representative for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Regional Qualifiers for WCG 2019!
