Blackberry hosted a party last night at the NBC Tent to celebrate the launch of the Blackberry Z10 to the Philippine market. The Z10 was announced at the end of January with a redesigned OS and new features such as the Blackberry Hub, BBM Video, Time Shift, and Blackberry Balance, which lets the user manage his professional and personal data separately.
The event was graced by celebrities left and right, lead by the Blackberry Barkada of Tim Yap, Georgina Wilson, Raymond Gutierrez, Solenn Heussaff among others. Blackberry Z10s were raffled off and after a few failed attempts, 3 lucky winners went home with shiny new Blackberry smartphones.
The Blackberry Z10 is now available at Globe for free at Unlisurf Plan 1799 and Smart (also for free) at Unli Data Plan 2000. If you do not want to be locked with a telco, you can buy the Blackberry Z10 for Php 29,990 at the local retail stores this week.
