I haven’t used my ZenFone 5 for the past few months. I don’t get to use even those I’ve considered my favorites since I review a lot of phones. I also don’t get to rotate my phones as my daily driver because it’s getting tiresome. Last week, however, I was enticed to download the ASUS ZenFone 5 Software Update since I’ve heard comments about its improved camera features.
According to ASUS, the latest software update released last August includes improvement in exposure, sharpness, basically everything about the camera’s performance. So I brought my ZenFone 5 out of the box again, updated the software and started taking photos.
Here are some sample photos taken after the ASUS ZenFone 5 Software Update:
Unfortunately, I only have one ZenFone 5 to use so I’m unable to compare photos with the older software. However, I’m pleased with the results of the software update. Photos look livelier with improved sharpness. I might have to take some more photos and update this post if I notice more notable changes in the camera.
