Along with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 launch, ASUS has also announced several new gaming monitors. These are the ROG Swift PG329Q, ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN and ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QNR. More on the 360Hz models in detail in a separate article. ASUS joins the case fan market with its ROG STRIX XF 120 fan for low noise cooling performance and versatility. For its networking solution, the new ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000, the world’s first WiFi 6E router. For keyboards and mice; the ROG Strix Scope RX which uses ROG RX mechanical optical switches; and the ROG Keris Wireless mouse for compact and nimble control. For sound ASUS releases the ROG Delta S headset with AI noise canceling mic and crystal clear audio. And for mousepads, the ROG Scabbard 2 is released.

ROG Swift PG329Q is a 32-inch (2560 x 1440) 175Hz Gaming monitor that features ASUS’ fast IPS panel technology. It is also the first monitor globally to be NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and have variable overdrive. With fast IPS technology, the LCD elements in the display turn on and off up to four times faster than conventional IPS panels. This leads to a superfast 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. It comes in with Quantum-dot technology with factory color pre-calibration. It even has DisplayHDR 600 certification, DCI-P3 98% and sRGB 160% providing a wide color space for stunning color fidelity. ASUS’ Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) technology eliminates motion blur. The customizable variable overdrive on this ROG Swift model works by dynamically adjusting pixel response to accommodate an entire range of refresh rates for razor sharp images while playing.

ROG STRIX XF 120 Cooling Fan

The ROG STRIX XF 120 is a 120mm 4-pin PWM cooling fan that has been tested and verified to deliver optimized acoustic profiles across a range of performance demands. It delivers 62.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) airflow and 3.07mm H20 static pressure. This provides flexibility to use the ROG STRIX XF120 in applications such as a CPU cooler or for radiator; or just as a case cooler.

ROG STRIX XF 120 features maglev technology that reduces friction while it rotates. This leads to a much quieter acoustic profile and 400,000 hour lifespan. The specially grooved fan blads and anti-vibration design further reduces noise. A wide operating range of 250 to 1800 RPM allows for versatile operations. It can be adjusted to a low speed of 250 rpm or turned off when using the ultra low noise profile.
