2022 1st Half Gaming PC Build Php 50000

It’s high time to get back with creating build guides for gaming PC this 2022. This part 1 will serve as a guide on building a gaming PC that should hopefully fit in a set budget of Php 50000. These builds are for a PC unit only and will not include peripherals like monitors, keyboards and mouse, or even UPS units. Therefore careful budget allocation should be considered. This post is made in partnership with DeepCool.

** Update ** PCWorx just posted a promo on their Facebook account putting the Gigabyte RTX 2060 on sale.

With the release of Intel’s 12th Gen CPUs, as well as AMD’s last set of AM4 CPUs; prices have become competitive these days. I have tried out Intel’s 12700k 12th Gen CPU and it is impressive, with its new Big.Little architecture utilizing different cores. I am including both AMD and Intel builds here. Other things to consider are costing, and performance. I am weighing in more on the performance side, than the cost. Hence it is expected for the budget to go over a bit. However, I’ll still go the lowest price from a reliable brands that I vouch. Most of the parts are sourced from my usual go to store, PCHub.

2022 Gaming PC Php 50000 – Intel

The Intel 12th Generation of CPUs is the best option to go for this year, not only it’s using a new architecture, it’s also supports PCIe 5 and both DDR4 and DDR5 memory. Pricewise, Intel aggressively pushed for lower prices of their lower end and mid tier CPUs, making them very appealing for users looking to get a new PC built. Let’s see what kind of Intel Gaming PC we’ll get with a budget of Php 50,000.

Price is within the 50,000 budget range for the AMD RX6600 GPU. Now thanks to PCWorx’s ongoing promo of its RTX 2060, budget for this PC goes down below the Php 50,000 mark. Which is quite big savings from the GPU. Plus, thanks to the availability of DDR4 compatible motherboards and the overall low cost of DDR4 memory now. There’s savings with the Intel i5 12400F CPU, the motherboard pricing is quite high. I have to choose a more bang for the buck motherboard like the ASUS Prime B660M-A than its closest competitor. It features larger VRM heatsinks, four memory slots, plus m.2 heatsink as well. Power and Case is the same choice as the AMD build. On the bright side, the B660 motherboard still has another CPU generation to support.

2022 Gaming PC Php 50000 – AMD

With cost of GPUs having gone down, we can actually get an AMD RX6600 graphics card and not the lower tiered RX6500XT or RTX 3050. And the new AMD Ryzen 5 5600 is priced competitively earning its place as the heir to the Ryzen 5 3600 for budget CPUs.

Most importantly, we must understand that this is AMD’s last hurrah for its AM4 socket. The next CPU release for AMD will have a different socket design using LGA. I would really recommend going for Intel if you are deciding to do upgrades later. With that in mind, here’s the Php 50,000 AMD Build.

A little over budget, but, still within the Php 50,000.00 Range. However, swapping it with the recently posted Gigabyte RTX 2060 pushes the price down to This uses AMD’s latest Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, which is touted as the economy version of the 5600x. However, I do advise dear readers that going for AMD to really consider holding off on purchasing a

Conclusion…. so far

The 2022 Php 50000 Gaming PC is tentatively quite a mid range build, that can actually handle well on most games running at 1080p resolution. Intel does have appeal to those looking for a brand new PC. For its lower price, it edges the AMD Ryzen 5600. AMD’s latest CPUs are the last of the AM4 series. It is at best an upgrade for those who have stuck with team red for the longest time using B and X series motherboards. But if you’re really looking to get the latest Ryzen CPU, then by all means.

Of course, this is just but a guide to pick what to build. I suggest to get the RTX 3060 instead of the RTX 3050 if going with an NVIDIA GPU, as it performs better. The price for an RTX 3060 is roughly around Php 4,000 higher than the price of an RTX 3050. Do understand that going for a 3060 would bring us closer to the Php 60,000 price mark. Also, if there are still stocks of the old RTX 2060, it’s also another choice to look at. as it is roughly the same price as the highest end RTX 3050 model The RTX 2060 currently has a promo with PC Worx pushing its price down to 17,990.

The next entry would either be the lower budget-meal PC or the upper mid-tier build. We’ll see.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
