I was at the Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 Game Changer Event last Friday and it was jampacked by news organizations and bloggers. While everybody was busy, I walked around and I found a smartphone lying on a table.
The back of the phone has the word “Apollo”, and this might be one of the rumored new phone models that would be released within the last quarter of 2013. I am not certain if this is one of the Project X or Project Z phones that was announced in the event, but news on the internet shows that it is possibly the one.
From what I’ve seen in the device, the Apollo would have the following specs:
Screen: 4.5″ HD 1280×720
Processor: MTK 6589 1.2 GHz Quad-Core
OS: Android 4.2 Jellybean
Storage: 4 GB ROM, 1GB RAM
Camera: 12 Megapixels (Main), 5 Megapixels (Front)
Battery: 2,000 mAh
I was only able to play with it for a few minutes, until someone from their marketing department caught me and took the Apollo. Oops! 🙂
