The Blue Charm Note is a pretty solid device, and as such devices go, it requires a younger sibling.

The Chinese tech giant has recently announced an event on January 28, and if what most rumor mills say is true, it’ll be where the M1 Mini will be unveiled. A supposed image has leaked online, featuring a Blue Charm Note and what’s suspected to be two M1 Minis alongside it.

The M1 Mini may end up having a 5-inch display that goes for a resolution of 720×1280, and still retain the the Blue Charm Note’s 64-bit MediaTek chip and LTE connectivity. Price-wise, it may compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi 2, which goes for 699元 (approximately Php5,000).

Meizu may have its hands full if its planning to take on Xiaomi, as the latter has recently introduced an impressive Note line of its own.
