I received an event invite involving the LG Nexus 5 scheduled for next week. That means it will be officially available here in the Philippines. Nice!
And just like the previous years, Smart will have exclusive rights to bring the latest smartphone from Google and LG. We have no news about the postpaid plans and availability yet, but we should have the information in the next few days.
The LG Nexus 5 comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS Display, a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and fast LTE connectivity thanks to Smart. The most known feature of the newest Nexus is its Android 4.4 operating system also known as KitKat. This is the first Android device that will officially come out that is named after the chocolate brand from Nestlé.
I am very tempted to get this one, most especially that it will be available through Smart. However, is it better than the LG G2 I’m currently reviewing? Hopefully I’ll be able to get a hands-on the Nexus 5 during the event.
