Last year, the LG G2 bagged many prestigious awards in the tech industry that brought in attention from consumers. When 2014 saw the release of the G3, it proved to be no slouch either. Top-of-the-line specs coupled with improvements in its User Interface and aesthetics have turned a lot of heads.
The G3 has proven itself by winning a total of nine awards in the Communication Design category at the recently-held Red Dot Design Awards. Among the G3’s lauded features are the Smart Keyboard, the Knock Code, and its Graphic User Interface (GUI). The G3 bested 7,096 entries from 49 countries.
The 2014-2015 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards also gave the LG G3 top ratings and named it the “European Advanced Smartphone” in its recently held awarding ceremonies in Berlin, citing its QHD 5.5-inch LCD IPS display, 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus, and high-resolution audio feedback as clear reasons for the win.

Aside from receiving international accolades, the LG G3 has also been well-received by the global tech and business media. Forbes and Bloomberg BusinessWeek call it “The Perfect Smartphone,” The Huffington Post recognizes it as “The Best Android Phone Available Today,” the Graham Jury Awards names it the “2014 Smartphone of the Year,” while PCWorld hails it as “The Year’s Best Innovation.”
