Cherry Mobile’s New Pricelist Reveals 42 Android Devices

CMpricelist08

I went to my favorite mall yesterday for an errand and visited one of the mobile phone stores to check if there’s anything new. What caught my attention is the new pricelist of Cherry Mobile’s lineup for the 4th quarter of 2013.

I counted the smartphones and tablets in the list and there were around 42 devices all in all. Wow! Not all of these are new though, some of them like the Cherry Mobile Cosmos series and Snap were released a few months ago as well as the Flare 2.0 and Apollo which were launched last month. I’ll focus on some new items here that looks interesting so far.

Fusion Breeze – According to the specs sheet, this new tablet has a 1.2 GHz processor, 7″ capacitive touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity. The reason why I am highlighting this is the price. At Php 1,999, this must be the most affordable Android tablet in the market today!

Superion Odyssey – They recently announced the availability of the Superion Discover and Superion Voyager, and its specs makes the Odyssey their top of the line model in their tablet category. It has a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, a 7.85″ IPS Capacitive Touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel camera at the back with a 2 Megapixel camera at the front. SRP is Php 7,499.00.

Omega XL – The bigger brother of the Omega HD 2.0, with slightly better specs. The Omega XL now has 6″ IPS screen with Dragon Trail Glass technology and 13 Megapixels with BSI sensor. SRP is Php 7,999.00. The Omega HD 2.0’s price is now lowered to Php 7,999.00.

Rave 2.0 – The special feature of the Rave 2.0? It’s NFC or Near Field Communications where you can transfer information to another NFC-enabled device fast with less power consumption. It also runs on a quad-core processor and has a 12 Megapixel camera. It is priced at Php 8,999.00 and bundled with a BS1 NFC Speaker for free.

Titan 2.0 – The name suggests that it is the upgraded version of the original Titan which I reviewed last year. It’s noticeable improvements are its chipset which is now bumped into a Quad-Core processor and the cameras now have 12 Megapixels (back) and 5 Megapixels (front) with BSI sensors. The price is also upgraded – Php 8,999.00 (the Titan’s price was at Php 6,490.)

Omega HD 2X – Aside from the Omega XL, they are using the Omega branding for another smartphone model that can be a potential blockbuster. The Omega HD 2X has a 1.5GHz Quad-Core processor, 5.7″ Full HD IPS Display (not sure if it also has the Dragontrail glass), 18 Megapixel camera for the rear and 8 Megapixel camera for the front, and 32GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM. Wowowow!!! Price? SRP is Php 12,399.00.

W900 LTE – Finally! An LTE smartphone model from Cherry Mobile! But against my expectations that it will have a quad-core processor with Dual-SIM capabilities, it will only have a Dual-Core processor under its hood with Single SIM. According to my contact from Cherry Mobile, it will be powered by a Qualcomm processor, similar to what is being used in the Nokia Lumia 625. With this announcement, this could be the most affordable LTE smartphone in the market today. It is also reported that the W900 LTE will support both Smart and Globe’s LTE connectivity. I will confirm this as soon as they officially announce this. SRP is at Php 11,499.00.

All of these phones/tablets on the list come with respective freebies, that means more value for what you have paid for.

Last but not the least, they also have another pricelist for Feature phones just in case you’re interested. All 42 of them. That means they’re releasing 84 phones/tablets for the last quarter of 2013!!! <faints>
